The Art Hop on August 12th brings a blend of visual arts and music to Hudson for the evening. The community is invited to listen in; all performances are free.
Treat yourself to a piano performance by the Steinway & Sons Spirio player piano, a hand-crafted instrument powered by an iPad. This remarkable instrument brings performances by the world’s great pianists to a high-resolution player piano with virtuosity and power. Generously on loan from Steinway Piano Gallery Cleveland for one night only, you can hear it at Suburban Sit!
The Hudson Community Youth Chorus, under the direction of Eve Sliwinski, aims to inspire a life-long love of singing in local youth. They will be performing outdoors, weather permitting. You can hear them beginning at First & Main at 6:00 near MOD, then at 6:30 by Fair Trade on Main, and finally at 7:00 at Uncommon Art.
Mick Rogers, a well-known musician from Kent, will play original blues-rock music beginning at 7pm at The Red Twig. Beforehand, feel free to join in at their Open Mic from 5-6:30pm.
