Painter Tom Jackson to show at Olive My Heart

Olive My Heart offers a gourmet selection of olive oils and gift items. During the July 14th Art Hop, enjoy oils of a different variety with the accomplished work of oil painter Tom Jackson. The guest artist will display his work as part of the 2nd Friday Art Hop on July 14.

After a 40-year career as a military and commercial pilot, Jackson returned to his roots in Northeast Ohio to let another career take flight: as a full-time artist. The Stow native graduated from the University of Akron (BFA Drawing and Painting) in 1972 and now is renewing his passion for drawing and painting. He has received numerous awards and “Best of Show” designations for his beautifully designed and realistic paintings from local organizations that include Cuyahoga Valley Art Center, Akron Society of Artists and the prestigious Butler Institute of Art.

His original paintings and Giclee prints are available at A Gallery West, 20370 Center Ridge Road, Cleveland; Giclee prints of Hudson may be found at Hudson Fine Art & Framing; and original work is also available at Glass Growers, 10 E. 5th Street, Erie, PA. Visit him online at and in person next Friday from 5-8pm at Olive My Heart, 5108 Darrow Road, Hudson.
