The Holiday Art Hop At A Glance


Handmade paper starThe Holiday Art Hop on December 9th is full of one-of-a-kind handmade gifts and art. Fourteen locations will be open till 8pm, and several even later.

Also, your donations of food or cash go to support the Hudson Community Service Association food pantry. For your donation, you will get a handmade paper star. Please consider making a donation during the evening. Here’s a list of what they can use: HCSA Food Pantry Donation List

In South Hudson, visit:

  • The Red Twig (open til 9pm):  paintings by Kat LoGrande, greeting cards by Deborah French, jewelry by Cleveland Street Glass and Exquisite Corpse Boutique, plus more in their newly expanded shop.
  • The Sampler:  altered clothing by Linda Ackerman of Paper Rose Design-Altered Couture.
  • Olive My Heart:  seascape paintings by Eva Volf.

At the center of town, visit:

  • MOD: Matter of Design:  a variety of local and national artists.
  • Viva Bene Gourmet: Mary McKee DiStefano and her watercolor paintings.
  • The Learned Owl:  {Whimsical Worlds} by Maryann Wohlwend, 3D art from classic children’s books.
  • Uncommon Art:  a colorful quirky show of “Tiny Homes For The Holidays”.
  • Open Door Coffee Company:  a lively display a variety of local artists.
  • Hudson Fine Art & Framing (open til 8:30):  wine, art, and jazz with paintings by Tom Jackson and jazz singer Barbara Rosene.
  • Creative Fingers / Stacie Pinover:  try a holiday arts and crafts project.
  • Western Reserve School of Cooking:  chef and carver David Holland.
  • Fair Trade on Main:  Ginny Pillsbury and her locker hooking creations.
  • Suburban Sit:  browse jewelry by Janice Filipski of Plank House Art Studio.
  • Visitor Center:  a Holiday Show and Sale of artwork by members of the Hudson Society of Artists.
